JMA supports system safety to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program Office for Safety and Management System (SMS) studies. We provide the breadth of SMS knowledge for the Program Management Office (PMO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) as well as support program managers, engineers and support personnel.

 

JMA is responsible for conducting and facilitating SMS panels which assess risk to the NAS and conduct analyses of UAS operations in different classes of airspace and technology. We also provide SMS experience with the developing and drafting of the Safety Risk Management Document (SRMD) and Safety Risk Management Decision Memo (SRMDM) documentation.
