Under her visionary leadership, JMA has grown to employ more than 100 professionals—over 40% of whom are veterans—and provides mission-critical support in program management, engineering, air traffic management, and training to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other federal agencies.

Beyond JMA, Jan serves as President & CEO of Ideal Electrical Supply Corporation, a leading full-service electrical distributor based in Washington, D.C., and President & CEO of Blue Lady Sports and Entertainment. She also proudly co-owns DC Power FC, the newest professional women’s soccer team in the USL Super League, championing opportunity, equity, and empowerment through sports in the nation’s capital.

A passionate advocate for community engagement, Jan serves on several nonprofit boards, including the African American Civil War Memorial Foundation and the Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund. She is also a dedicated supporter of youth and education initiatives such as the D.C. Adopt-a-School Program, reflecting her belief in giving back and lifting others through service.

Jan’s leadership and achievements have earned her wide recognition, including being named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s Most Powerful Women of 2025, as well as honors such as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Mid-Atlantic, Washington, D.C.
