Washington, DC – July 1, 2020 – JMA Solutions is now a proud member of the Controller Training Solutions (CTS) Contract team led by SAIC. SAIC chose JMA to provide training support services to air traffic controllers within the Jacksonville, Florida area. The $653 million, 7-year contract was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the sole regulator of the nation’s civil aviation activities, to further assist new and experienced air traffic controllers in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace.
“We are excited to provide top-tier training to aviation professionals,” said President and CEO, Jan Adams. “The Federal Aviation Administration has been a loyal customer to JMA for over 15 years, and we are more than proud to continue our long-standing relationship with them to further enhance the aviation community.”
Under the contract, JMA’s certified instructors and support staff will develop and conduct superior training programs that conform to FAA equipment, policies, and procedures. Through thorough evaluation, JMA’s team of experts will collaborate with FAA management and training representatives, monitor student progress and performance, and ensure that required training is conducted as defined in FAA directives.
“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to engage and work closely with SAIC as one team,” said Marcy Bettis, Vice President of Engineering Services. “We look forward to delivering outstanding training and support materials to FAA Air Traffic Controllers in the Jacksonville, Florida district.”
